Vector

Privacy Policy

Updated 19 October 2026

In short

Vector has no account and no servers of its own. Your habits, history and health data stay on your phone. Vector does not track you, show ads, or sell or share your data.

What Vector keeps, and where

The habits you create, the days you tick, your chosen identity, streaks and settings are saved only on your phone, in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them.

Health and activity data

If you turn it on in Settings, Vector reads your steps and workouts for today from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), only to tick habits off for you. It only reads; it never writes, changes or deletes health data. The data stays on your phone: it is never uploaded, never used for advertising, and never shared or sold. You can stop it any time in Settings, or in Apple Health or Health Connect.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your phone by its own notification system. Nothing about them is sent to us.

Purchases

Vector Premium and streak restores are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; Vector only learns from them that a purchase was made, so it can unlock what you bought. We never see your card or account details.

Backups

A backup is a file you create and save yourself, for example to iCloud Drive or Google Drive. It is encrypted with a passphrase only you know, and we never receive it.

What Vector does not do

No sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no network requests to servers of ours. The fonts and pictures are built into the app.

Not medical advice

Vector helps with everyday habits. Its evidence ratings summarise published research for general information; they are not medical advice. Talk to a professional about your health.

Children

Vector is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on our website, with its date.
